Successful special pour at Old Oak Common - HS2

SCS JV has completed a special concrete pour at Old Oak Common, part of the HS2 project in London, using a custom stop-end developed in collaboration with KERN Tunneltechnik and KERN System Solutions.

The pour was a success. Around 230 m³ of concrete was placed in a continuous pour of about 19 hours. The stop-end performed as designed throughout, holding the concrete face securely and keeping the operation smooth and controlled from start to finish.
