Concrete Test Station ready to work at Tideway West

The bespoke Concrete Test Station for Tideway West has been installed and is now ready to work.
One of the main targets of the Tideway West Team is to carry out various concrete trials in order to determine the most suitable conditions and concrete mix before comencing the Secondary Lining in the tunnels.
The system is designed to simulate the critical aspects of a fullround pour: invert and pier sections.
Through the use of hydraulic provisions, the panel can rotate up to 45°.
The concrete block can be then easily removed after a curing period.
