Project information: As part of the project named Kombilösung Karlsruhe, the Tunnel Karl Friedrichstraße with its length of 250 m connects the station Ettlinger Tor with the station Marktplatz in the heart of the city.
Supplied equipments: Supply of a Formwork and a Reinforcement gantry able to be converted inside the tunnel to realize the secondary lining works of a trumpet section.

In relation to the work sequence, it was decided to start from the biggest block, reducing block by block the dimension of the machines up to the standard blocks in “Regelprofil”.
Formwork and Reinforcement gantry have been developed considering this challenging situation.

Both systems work with two transporting gantries (right and left) able to move independently during the advancement.

For the central trumpet enlargement, it was used the TSK modular system as a supporting structure for the deck forms.
The project presented critical aspects in relation to the construction program and it was realized in compressed air conditions.

All the machines have been completely pre-assembled previous delivery and installation on site.
