Project information: The Bözbergtunnel is a 2.7km two rails tunnel connecting Effingen e Schinznach-Dorf. This is one of the most important project of the corridor Basel – Chiasso in the San Gottardo axes.
Supplied equipments: For this project Kern Tunneltechnik provided an invert formwork and two tunnel shutters.
The invert formwork is a self-propelling structure provided with a bespoke upper frame to allow the transport of the material in the tunnel.
The 2 formworks have been designed for a hydrostatic concrete pressure to allow the client to cast each 12m long and 9 high block in 3hours.
One of the 2 shutters is also designed to be modified and adapt to 4 different geometries.
