Project information: The Northolt Tunnel is a significant component of the UK's High Speed 2 (HS2) railway, extending 8.4 miles (13.5 km) between Old Oak Common station and West Ruislip. This twin-bore tunnel is being constructed in two phases: Northolt Tunnel West and Northolt Tunnel East. The western section spans approximately 5 miles (8 km) from the West Ruislip Portal to the Greenpark Way ventilation shaft near Greenford station, while the eastern section covers about 3.4 miles (5.6 km) between the Victoria Road Crossover Box in Old Oak and the Green Park Way Vent Shaft in Greenford.
