First Pour at Old Oak Common Tunnels

We are delighted to share another key achievement for KERN on the successful completion of the SAT and the first concrete pour using our Tunnel Shutter system.
Following its arrival on site and final assembly, the shutter, developed together with the SCS JV team, has now demonstrated full functionality during the first production pour, confirming its performance.
This milestone represents a significant step in progressing the works on site and reflects the strong coordination and commitment shared by the KERN team. With the SAT and first pour successfully completed, the system is now fully integrated into the project’s construction sequence.
