Start-up of the Karlsruhe project

Today Kern Tunneltechnik completed the assembly and the customer commissioning of the trumpet formwork for the enlargement area of the Karl-Friedrich-Straße tunnels in Karlsruhe.

The project presented critical aspects in relation to the construction program and working area conditions.

The assembly of the sophisticated formwork elements has been carried out in overpressure and has been a logistical challenge. The work has been completed with the full satisfaction of the customer thanks to the innovative engineering, the great experience of the assembly team, the exemplary cooperation on the construction site and the perfect planning.

The machine is currently set in position ready for the first pour.
